Terms and Conditions

The Terms and Conditions ("Terms") create a contract between you and Jessica Peng Swim School. Please read the Terms carefully.
1. Registration and Payment
1.1. All swimmers must complete a registration form before participating in any classes.
1.2. Payment for classes must be made in advance, according to the schedule provided at the time of registration.
1.3. Refunds will only be issued in cases of medical emergencies or other extraordinary circumstances, and at the discretion of the management.
2. Attendance and Punctuality
2.1. Swimmers are expected to arrive on time for their scheduled classes. Late arrivals may not be able to participate if the class has already begun.
2.2. If a swimmer cannot attend a class, advance notice should be given to the school. Missed classes will not be eligible for monetary credits or refunds.
3. Make-up Policy
3.1. Each student will be able to schedule up to a maximum of one make-up lesson per session, given the following conditions:
3.1.1. The office has been contacted by email at least 24 hours before the class to be missed.
3.1.2. The notice of the absence, including the student’s name and class day and time, has been confirmed received.
3.1.3. Make-up lessons must be taken within the student’s current session and are based on availability.
3.1.4. No monetary credits or refunds will be provided for missed classes, regardless of prior notice.
3.1.5. There will be no make-up lesson for the last missed class in each session.
3.1.6. There will be no make-up class for a previously scheduled make-up lesson.
4. Time Slot Change Fee
4.1. An administration fee of $50 will be applied to any time slot change once it has been reserved.
5. Health and Safety
5.1. Parents or guardians must inform the school of any medical conditions or special needs of the swimmer at the time of registration.
5.2. Swimmers must follow all safety instructions provided by the instructors at all times.
5.3. The school reserves the right to refuse participation to any swimmer who is deemed unfit for swimming activities due to health or safety concerns.
6. Pool Rules
6.1. All swimmers must wear appropriate swimwear and bring necessary equipment (e.g., goggles, swim cap) to each class.
6.2. Running, horseplay, or any other unsafe behavior in or around the pool area is strictly prohibited.
6.3. Food, drinks, and glass containers are not allowed in the pool area.
7. Instructor Authority
7.1. Instructors have the authority to enforce all rules and safety guidelines. Swimmers and parents/guardians must respect and adhere to their instructions.
7.2. The school reserves the right to remove any swimmer from a class if their behavior is disruptive or poses a risk to themselves or others.
8. Liability Waiver
8.1. By enrolling in the swim school, parents/guardians acknowledge and accept that swimming involves inherent risks. The school, its staff, and its facilities are not liable for any injuries or accidents that may occur.
8.2. A signed waiver must be completed before any swimmer can participate in classes.
9. Photography and Media
9.1. The school may take photographs or videos during classes and events for promotional purposes. Parents/guardians must notify the school in writing if they do not wish for their child to be included.
10. Changes and Cancellations
10.1. The school reserves the right to reschedule or cancel classes due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to weather conditions or instructor availability.
10.2. In the event of a cancellation, the school will offer a make-up class or a credit towards future classes.
11. Code of Conduct
11.1. All swimmers and parents/guardians are expected to conduct themselves respectfully towards instructors, staff, and other swimmers.
11.2. Bullying, harassment, or any form of discrimination will not be tolerated and may result in dismissal from the school without a refund.
12. Agreement
12.1. By registering for classes at Jessica Peng Swim School, parents/guardians and swimmers agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
